High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) / Fitness Kickboxing (Family Friendly)

HIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. All ages welcome.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:00-8:00pm
These sessions are ongoing and participants can join at any time.

10 sessions = $50 for McLeod Community League members, $75 for non-community league members
Drop-in fee = $10 per session

We use HIIT Kickboxing as a fun and active way to promote healthy living. These sessions do not include sparring. Like boxing classes, fitness kickboxing offers the opportunity to train like a real kickboxer, reaping all the benefits without having to get in the ring. Studies show that a 45-60 minute kickboxing class can burn off 600-800 calories! In addition to the weight loss, you build lean muscle which raises your metabolism, burning calories at rest and toning the whole body. The kicking exercises concentrate on the thighs, hips, and buttocks unlike any other workout.

Our bodies are constantly adapting to everything we do which is why it’s so important that our workouts are anything but routine. At HIIT Kickboxing we use high intensity interval training to optimize and challenge the body and our natural ability to adapt. HIIT Kickboxing is a dynamic fitness program that combines heavy bag work, resistance training, cardio intervals and much more! The workouts are explosive, high energy and deliver results.

We offer classes Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7-8:15pm. The more you commit to attending, the greater the results.

HIIT Kickboxing classes change regularly as to not allow your body to get used to any one exercise. You can expect everything from body weight exercises, resistance training, cardio kickboxing, and a fun energizing environment. Please feel free to stop by and watch a class.

Registrants must show a current McLeod Community League membership (or current membership from another community league) to attend. If you are from the McLeod area, you must buy a McLeod membership - buy online here:  http://efcl.org/membership . Memberships are NON-REFUNDABLE.
