]]> 2011-09-03T00:01:00-07:00 Rinks are open! http://mcleodcommunityleague.ca/?/archives/comments/rinks_are_open/ http://mcleodcommunityleague.ca/?/archives/comments/rinks_are_open/#When:00:29:00Z Thanks to some helpful weather and some hard work, the large rink behind the McLeod hall will be open tomorrow (Tuesday, November 30th) and the small rink will be open by Friday, December 3rd. Once fully operational, the rinks will be open 5pm-10pm Monday to Friday, 10am-5pm Saturdays, and 11am-4pm Sundays, weather permitting.

A valid community league membership and skate tags are required for all participants, or you can purchase an admission from the rink caretaker.

  • U14 Girls - Inter cities A - Bronze - coached by Bev Hopkinson and Steve Slipchuk
  • U16 Girls - Tier 4 Provincials - Gold - coached by Peter Smyth. It has been many many years since a McLeod team has taken a Gold medal in Provincials.
  • U16 Boys - Inter cities B - Didn't Medal but put in a great effort - coached by Bobby Da Estrela
  • U18 Boys - Inter cities B - Gold - coached by Pete Keller and Max Yuen.
